Why This School Exists
Many children in the Himalayan region grow up in geographically isolated communities where access to education, healthcare, electricity, transportation, communication, and other essential services remains limited. Our school was established to help bridge this gap by providing children with an opportunity to learn, grow, and build a better future.
Founded in 2014 by Khenpo Karchoe Rinpoche, the school provides free education, accommodation, food, clothing, and essential healthcare support to students from disadvantaged Himalayan communities.
